The Russian EVA-26 has been completed Monday, with Russian cosmonauts Fyodor Yurchikhin (EV-1), and Oleg Skripochka (EV-2), woking on the outfitting of the exterior of the Service Module (SM) for future assembly work and the support of external experiments. This was the fifth spacewalk for Yurchikhin, and the first for Skripochka.

An Arianespace Soyuz 2-1A launch vehicle has lofted six Globalstar 2 mobile phone and data satellites into orbit on Tuesday. A Russian Soyuz-U launch vehicle launched the M-07M/39P Progress resupply ship into orbit on Friday morning, enroute to what was an issue-free Sunday docking with the International Space Station (ISS). Meanwhile, an investigation overview into aborted docking of the M-06M/38P Progress has been reviewed by NASA managers.

A Russian Rockot launch vehicle has lifted-off from the Plesetsk space center in northern Russia, carrying the Gonets-M (No. 2) satellite, and two Kosmos satellites. Launch took place at 03:30 UTC (07:30 Moscow time) on Wednesday.

The Russian Progress resupply vehicle – M-06M/38P – has succcessfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS) at 16:17pm GMT on Sunday, following an aborted attempt on Friday. Caused by interference between the Progress TV transmitter and the TORU (Telerobotically Operated Rendezvous Unit) system, Progress suffered no issues during the second attempt.

An International Space Company (ISC) Kosmotras Dnepr launch vehicle has launched the European Space Agency’s CryoSat 2 Earth observation satellite from an underground silo at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. CryoSat-2 – lifted off at 15:57 (CET) – is a replacement for another spacecraft that was lost in 2005.

International Launch Services (ILS) have launched the SIRIUS FM-5 communication satellite on its way to a geostationary transfer orbit via their Proton-M launch vehicle, following lift off from Launch Pad 39 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan. Launch occurred on time at 20:10 UTC, starting a launch phase that lasted a total of nine hours.

A Russian Rockot launch vehicle – a converted SS-19 Russian Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) – launched on Tuesday, following a 24 hour delay when Monday’s attempt was scrubbed at T-7 seconds, due to an issue with the Launch Service Tower. The vehicle is carrying the Gravity field and steady-state Ocean Circulation Explorer (GOCE) spacecraft into orbit on Monday.

The Russian cargo ship Progress M-66/32P has launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, ahead of docking with the International Space Station (ISS) on February 13. The resupply vehicle is carrying 2.5 tons of cargo for the Station’s Expedition 18 crew.

Russia has launched its third satellite on a program for the study of the Sun and solar-terrestrial physics. The launch of Koronas-Foton took place at 13:30 UTC from the GIK-1 Plesetsk Cosmodrome, in Arkhangelsk Oblast, about 800 km North of Moscow. This was the last launch of the venerable 11K68 Tsyklon-3 rocket.
