Following the cheers and gasps of Elon Musk’s latest BFR update in Australia, SpaceX is preparing to return to the bread and butter of its Falcon 9 manifest, opening with a Static Fire test at Kennedy Space Center’s 39A. The test – completed part way into the six hour test window – is an important milestone ahead of the launch of the SES-11 satellite, currently scheduled to take place on October 7.
