United Launch Alliance’s Delta IV rocket has launched with the NROL-45 payload for the US National Reconnaissance Office on Wednesday morning. Liftoff, from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, was on schedule at 03:40 local time (11:40 UTC), the opening of its launch window.
