SpaceX is set to close the third quarter of 2023 with its 70th launch of the year. The mission, Starlink Group 6-19, is set to lift off this Friday, Sept. 29, at 6:39 PM EDT (22:29 UTC) from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40), at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
The latest weather forecast released by the Space Launch Delta 45 predicts a 30 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for liftoff on the primary launch day. In case of further delay, there is a backup launch opportunity roughly 24 hours later.
With this mission, SpaceX will set new records and continue to push others that have already been broken. This is set to continue in the last quarter of 2023 as the company gears up for another record-breaking year in 2024.
